For private clients Fiona usually combines different items of equipment and adds innovative tweaks to ensure that each client has a workout targeted to their specific needs that is effective and enjoyable. Where clients have been referred by a professional, she will usually consult with them to discuss any health issues.

For clients requiring several private sessions, Fiona uses the Cadillac to improve mobility and strength.

It is essential that all newcomers to Pilates have at least one private session prior to joining a class. This ensures that each client fully understands the principles of Pilates and how to apply them in class. It also gives Fiona an opportunity to see clients move and address any difficulties or pain with certain exercises offering modifications and props that can be used to help clients in class.

Combines traditional Pilates exercises with items of equipment such as power circles, foam rollers, flex-bands, soft overballs, small weights and large gym balls. Choose level 1 if you are new to Pilates and Level 2 if you have had at least 12 weeks experience at Level 1.
Matwork really encourages engagement of the deep core abdominal muscles and focuses on controlling the muscles that stabilize the shoulder girdle, ribs and pelvis and keep the head and neck in good alignment.

Each client has their own reformer to work on. The reformer is an excellent tool for strengthening the muscles of the feet, legs, back and torso against resistance and hence improving posture. Clients must understand the Princples of Pilates and be able to stabilize their torso, so Matwork should usually be practiced first before joining a reformer class. Level 1 challenges the body with simple moves and co-ordination. Level 2 has requires more co-ordination, balance and control.

Fitness Warriors is a men only reformer class for those who already have a good level of fitness and want a challenging and fast paced class designed to improve core strength, mobility and improve your performance in your chosen sport.
